Job summary

Ali & Sons Group in Abu Dhabi seeks a seasoned QC Engineer to support quality control across materials inspection, fabrication, testing, and final product realization. You will ensure compliance with procedures, client specifications, and international standards throughout the project lifecycle.

The role requires 5–10 years in quality control within engineering, marine, or oil & gas sectors, with ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification and strong documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Degree, Diploma, or professional training in engineering field.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems and inspection processes.
• Excellent communication and coordination with production teams and inspectors.

Responsibilities

• Verify incoming materials against MRQ, LPOs, and purchase specs.
• Review and validate material test certificates for project requirements.
• Maintain material traceability records with unique IDs.
• Issue Non-Conformance Reports for non-conforming materials or fabrication deviations.
• Ensure Welding Procedure Specifications are available and implemented on the shop floor.
• Coordinate with Production Engineers and Welding Supervisors to ensure compliance with welding practices.
• Support stage-wise inspections during fabrication per ITP and QCP.
• Coordinate and witness DT, NDT, and pressure testing activities.
• Inspect blasting, painting, and coating work per project specs.
• Maintain testing equipment calibration and documentation.
• Prepare inspection/test packs and quality dossiers for handover.
• Coordinate with clients, inspectors, and surveyors on quality activities.
