Job summary

A leading supplier in the oil & gas sector is seeking a QA/QC Inspector (Mechanical) in Dubai. The role involves overseeing order execution, coordinating inspections, and ensuring compliance with technical requirements. Candidates should have a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering and at least 4 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in QA/QC or inspection within the piping industry.
• ASNT Level II certification in UT, MPI, and PT preferred.
• Hands-on experience with pipes, fittings, flanges, valves, and piping components.

Job Title: QA/QC Inspector (Mechanical)

Job Description

1. Plan and oversee the order execution process to meet customer requirements.
2. Coordinate inspections to ensure product meets customer expectations.
3. Ensure technical deliverables, including non-material requirements, are fulfilled.
4. Ensure compliance with technical requirements of the contract throughout order execution.
5. Perform incoming inspection of all B2B orders for materials arriving at Gerab DXB premises.
6. Review and report on stock orders' MTCs on time, ensuring compliance with GSSSM, standards, and client specifications.
7. Arrange inspections and coordinate TPI for stock orders.
8. Create items for stock and job orders as assigned by the Sr QC Manager.

Desired Candidate Profile

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a reputed university.
2. Minimum 4 years of experience in QA/QC or inspection within the piping industry.
3. Strong knowledge of ASTM, API, and ASME standards.
4. ASNT Level II certification in UT, MPI, and PT (preferred).
5. Hands-on experience with pipes, fittings, flanges, valves, and piping components.
6. Experience in arranging inspections, coordinating with TPI, and reviewing material test certificates and inspection documents.
7. Ability to review client specifications and ensure project compliance.
8. Familiarity with documentation control, NCR handling, and quality audits (preferred).
