The Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist Agile Transformation is responsible for ensuring that software development processes align with agile best practices while maintaining high-quality standards across the project lifecycle. This role plays a key part in driving quality in agile delivery teams by embedding QA methodologies early in development, facilitating test automation, and conducting ongoing quality assessments. Working in a collaborative and fast-paced environment, the QA Specialist partners with cross-functional teams to support the continuous delivery of reliable, scalable, and high-performing solutions in line with UAE compliance and digital transformation goals.

Responsibilities:

Collaborating with agile teams to define and implement quality standards and best practices throughout the development cycle.

Designing and executing comprehensive test plans, including functional, regression, performance, and security testing.

Developing automated test scripts using industry-standard tools to support CI/CD pipelines.

Identifying, documenting, and tracking defects while working closely with developers to ensure resolution.

Participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to support agile delivery.

Monitoring QA metrics to assess the health of products and processes, and providing data-driven insights.

Ensuring adherence to regulatory and security standards relevant to the UAE's digital systems.

Contributing to the continuous improvement of QA practices across agile squads.

Providing guidance and support to other QA members and developers on quality engineering practices.

Requirements:

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

4 6 years of experience in QA roles, with at least 2 years working in an agile/Scrum environment.

Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools (e.g., Selenium, JIRA, TestNG), and test automation frameworks.

Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.

Familiarity with agile transformation processes and agile QA integration strategies.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.

Experience in testing APIs and web/mobile applications.

Understanding of data protection laws and software quality standards in the UAE.

Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
