Job Responsibilities
  • Implement, monitor, and review Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS) in compliance with UAE Municipality regulations, HACCP, and ISO 22000:2018.
  • Conduct internal audits, manage external audits (Municipality, ISO, franchise), and ensure timely corrective action.
  • Monitor hygiene, food safety, and quality standards across all operations (F&B, Sweets & Treats, Supply Chain, Maintenance).
  • Liaise with government authorities and maintain strong relationships with inspectors.
  • Investigate and report food safety incidents, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
  • Coordinate laboratory testing (food, water, ice, swabs) and quality checks including taste tests.
  • Prepare QA manuals (Hygiene, SOPs, HACCP plans) and ensure compliance documentation is maintained.
  • Deliver and oversee training programs (Food Safety, PIC certification, refresher courses, chemical safety, fire safety, first aid, pest management).
  • Manage Food Watch system updates, compliance, supplier linkages, and training.
  • Support new projects by reviewing layouts for compliance and operational flow.
  • Coordinate calibration and maintenance of food safety equipment.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain for product registration, labeling, and shelf-life studies.
  • Lead, mentor, and guide PICs and FSMS teams to uphold best practices in food safety.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in food science, Microbiology, Nutrition, or related field.
  • Minimum 4–6 years of experience in food safety/quality assurance, preferably in F&B or hospitality.
  • Strong knowledge of HACCP, ISO 22000:2018, UAE Food Code, and Municipality FSMS requirements.
  • Experience in internal/external audits and liaising with government authorities.
  • Certified Food Safety Officer / PIC Trainer is preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and training delivery skills.
  • Proficient in Food Watch application and digital FSMS systems.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple departments.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive in risk management, and problem-solving.
