Job summary

China State Construction Middle East is recruiting a QA/QC Manager for a newly awarded large-scale project in Dubai. The role oversees quality assurance and control, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, and the Quality Plan on site.

You will lead QA/QC meetings, manage non-conformances with the Construction team, coordinate testing of MEP systems, and mentor QAQC inspectors. A Bachelor's in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and 15 years of relevant experience in hotel and resort

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
• 15 Years' of relevant work experience in managing projects with a particular focus on Hotel & Resorts developments

Responsibilities

• Promote compliance with Quality requirements within the Project Organization.
• Ensure issuing and filing of quality reports and audit reports, including follow-ups on corrective actions.
• Initiate actions to prevent nonconformity.
• Identify quality problems, coordinate with the concerned for solutions and verify implementation.
• Raise Internal Non-conformance reports & Quality Violations for deviations to specifications/drawings and for poor quality works.
• Responsible timely closure of External Non-conformances and observations raised by client in coordination with Construction team.
• Lead QAQC Meetings and report improvements and observations to Site team & QAQC Team; setup corrective/preventive actions and project standards.
• Analyze performance of QAQC Inspectors/Engineers.
• Manage Testing & Commissioning of MEP Systems in coordination with T&C Engineers & 3rd Party T&C Management.

Education

Bachelor's in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering

15 Years' of relevant work experience in managing projects with a particular focus on Hotel & Resorts developments

Position Summary:

Responsible for managing a system in the Project for Quality Assurance & Quality control, which monitors and verifies the implementation of the Approved drawings, Project Specifications, Project Quality Plan, approved project documents and Company procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting the Project Management in promoting, within the Project Organization, the compliance with the Quality requirements.
• Ensure in compliance with Company procedures, the issuing and filing of quality reports and audit reports, including follow-ups on agreed corrective actions.
• Initiate actions to prevent the occurrence of nonconformity.
• Identify and record any quality problem, then coordinate with the concerned for solutions and verify the implementation of solution.
• Raise Internal Non-conformance report & Quality Violations for any deviations to Specifications/ Drawings I Approved Technical submittals & for poor Quality works.
• Responsible timely closure of External Non-conformances and observations raised by client in coordination with Construction team.
