Job summary

Confidential Company is seeking a qualified QA QC Engineer - Mechanical with at least 3 years UAE experience in MEP projects. The role focuses on implementing quality control procedures to meet project specs, approved drawings, contract requirements and applicable standards for mechanical systems.

You will review specs, method statements, material submittals, coordinate with consultants and site teams, and prepare NCRs and handover documents. Immediate joining is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in mechanical engineering required.
• Minimum 3 years UAE experience as QA/QC Engineer in MEP contracting.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, fire fighting, and mechanical systems.
• Familiarity with international standards and QA/QC procedures.

Job description

We are seeking a qualified QA QC Engineer - Mechanical with at least 3 years of UAE experience in a similar role within MEP projects. The candidate will be responsible for implementing quality control procedures ensuring compliance with project specifications approved drawings contract requirements and applicable standards for mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Review project specifications drawings method statements and material submittals
• Prepare and maintain QA QC documents inspection requests IRs checklists and quality records
• Conduct inspections for HVAC Plumbing Fire Fighting and other mechanical installations
• Coordinate with consultants clients and site teams for inspections and approvals
• Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings project specifications and quality standards
• Prepare Non-Conformance Reports NCRs and follow up on corrective and preventive actions
• Ensure all materials delivered to site are approved and comply with project requirements
• Monitor testing and commissioning activities and maintain related records
• Attend quality meetings and support internal and external audits
• Prepare handover documents as-built records and project close-out documentation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 3 years UAE experience as QA/QC Engineer - Mechanical in MEP contracting companies
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and Mechanical systems
• Familiarity with international standards, local authority requirements, and QA/QC procedures
• Experience in high-rise buildings, villas, hotels, commercial, and residential projects is preferred
• Proficient in MS Office and QA/QC documentation
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Available to join immediately or within a short notice period will be an advantage
