Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly qualified Quality Assurance professional with a specialized focus on industrializing aeronautical products. The ideal candidate will possess technical expertise and industry knowledge to drive quality initiatives, ensure the successful introduction of new products into production, and monitor product quality during serial production. The candidate should demonstrate a strong commitment to quality, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Quality Assurance Plan (QAP): Develop and maintain the QAP for each new product, outlining quality objectives, inspection criteria, and acceptance standards aligned with design, customer requirements, and industry standards.
2. Critical to Quality (CTQ) Definition: Collaborate with engineering and design teams to define CTQ parameters for components and assemblies, ensuring critical quality characteristics are identified and addressed.
3. Quality Inspection Planning: Lead the development of inspection plans for new products, specifying methods, sampling plans, and acceptance criteria to ensure conformance and reliability.
4. Process Validation: Oversee validation of manufacturing processes for new products, conducting capability studies and verifying performance to ensure consistency and compliance.
5. First Article Inspection (FAI): Coordinate and oversee FAI activities, ensuring initial samples meet all requirements before full production.
6. Quality Control Documentation: Maintain documentation related to quality activities, including inspection reports, NCRs, and corrective actions for traceability and compliance.
7. Continuous Improvement: Drive ongoing improvements in quality processes, identifying opportunities for optimization and efficiency.
8. Training and Support: Provide training to production personnel on quality requirements, inspection techniques, and control procedures.

Education & Experience:

1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, or related fields. An advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in Quality Engineering or relevant discipline is preferred.
2. Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in quality engineering within the aerospace or aeronautical industry, focusing on product industrialization and NPI. Direct experience with aeronautical quality assurance is essential.
3. Deep knowledge of QMS standards like AS9100, ISO 9001, and relevant regulations. Certification such as ASQ Certified Quality Engineer is highly desirable.
4. Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies like Six Sigma, SPC, FMEA, RCA, and DOE.
5. Proven experience leading quality assurance during new product introductions, including QAP development and CTQ definition.
6. Understanding of industry regulations, standards, and certification requirements for aeronautical products.
7. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills, with a focus on corrective and preventive actions.
8. Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality teams.
