Job summary

Euro Mechanical is seeking a QHSSE Director to lead Health, Safety, Security, Environment and Quality across its Abu Dhabi operations in the oil and gas sector. The role reports to the COO and drives an integrated QHSSE management system, embedding a strong safety culture and connecting people, processes and performance across the business.

You will set strategy, oversee certifications (ISO 9001/14001/45001), manage incident investigations, risk reviews, and asset security planning, and mentor

Qualifications

• 15+ years in QHSSE with oil & gas EPC or field services
• Director/VP level experience, reporting to C-suite
• Proven track record delivering ISO 9001/14001/45001
• NEBOSH General Certificate required; Lead Auditor preferred
• Experience with ADNOC frameworks is an advantage

Responsibilities

• Lead HSE, Quality and Security strategy across all divisions
• Drive ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 certification and compliance
• Oversee incident investigations and risk reviews (HAZOP/HAZID)
• Own asset security planning (physical and digital)
• Mentor QHSSE teams and report to Exec Team and Board

Job description

Euro Mechanical is looking for a QHSSE Director to lead Health, Safety, Security, Environment and Quality across our four divisions in Abu Dhabi's oil and gas sector.

This is a senior, enterprise-wide role reporting directly to the COO, with close working relationships across our Executive team. You'll take ownership of our integrated QHSSE management system, drive a strong safety culture, and act as a genuine change agent, connecting people, process, and performance across the business.

Responsibilities:

• Leading HSE, Quality, and Security strategy across all divisions (EPC, Manufacturing, Services and Partners)
• Driving ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 certification and compliance with ADNOC and Abu Dhabi regulations
• Overseeing incident investigation, risk reviews (HAZOP/HAZID), and continuous improvement
• Owning physical and digital asset security planning
• Leading, mentoring, and developing QHSSE teams across the business
• Reporting QHSSE performance to the Exec Team and Board

Requirements:

• 15+ years' progressive QHSSE experience, ideally in oil and gas EPC or field services
• Proven experience at Director/VP level, reporting to C-suite
• Track record delivering ISO 9001/14001/45001 certification
• NEBOSH General Certificate (essential); Lead Auditor certification
• Experience with ADNOC or similar national oil company frameworks is a strong advantage
• Confident, credible communicator, comfortable at field level and in the boardroom
