Job summary

Al Ghurair is seeking an Assistant Manager for Quality, Health, Safety, Environment & Technical Excellence to ensure installation, maintenance and operations meet QHSE standards and international norms, while raising technical excellence and achieving defect-free handover.

You will lead the QHSE team, implement ISO-aligned policies, monitor KPIs (MTBC, safety, quality), provide on-site and remote technical support, and drive continuous improvement and training across projects to ensure reliable

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/electrical engineering.
NEBOSH Certification.
Minimum 10+ years in elevator/escalator industry or similar.
Strong experience in QHSE, quality control, and technical operations.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement the QHSE & Technical Excellence strategy.
Establish the Technical Excellence Centre to support performance and reliability.
Define and monitor KPIs including MTBC, quality, safety, and defect-free handover.
Lead safety culture, quality, and continuous improvement across the organization.
Ensure ISO standards compliance and regulatory alignment across projects.
Provide on-site and remote technical support to maintenance and installation teams.
Ensure QC inspections and testing before handover to clients.
Drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
