Job summary

Currie & Brown is seeking a Health & Safety Inspector in Abu Dhabi to support a key client. You will work with the QHSE lead to implement and maintain Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental systems across projects.

You will verify compliance with ISO9001, ISO45001, and ISO14001, conduct site inspections, and contribute to QHSE audits and meetings. Strong English and MS-Office skills are essential, with PMC experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of ISO9001, ISO45001 and ISO14001 standards.
• Ability to carry out system audits as per the standards.
• Familiarity with site inspections, measurement and testing in construction.
• Experience writing and reviewing QHSE procedures or plans.
• Proficient in MS-Office and business productivity tools.
• Good English; multilingual preferred.
• Experience working at a PMC is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist the QHSE lead in implementing and maintaining QHSE systems.
• Verify compliance with legislation, rules and system requirements for HSE/QA across projects.
• Attend QHSE project meetings and contribute to quality and HSE management.
• Help increase safety and reduce risks by promoting a safety-and-environment mindset on site teams.
• Provide expert input to client projects and advise on QHSE matters.
• Review, comment on and follow up QHSE site reports.
• Raise periodic reports to Delivery Management and client QHSE Lead.
