Job description

Role Title: QHSE Engineer

Role Type: Outsourced Temporary Full Time OnSite

Contract Period: 6 Months (Temporary Contract)

Work Location: Dubai UAE

Expected Start Date: September 1st 2024

Monthly Salary range: AED 8000

Role Summary: The purpose of the role is to supervise and support the QHSE team in the Projects LOB.

Requirements:

  • Engineering bachelor's degree
  • Min 24 years of experience in the HSE Construction field.
  • Very good verbal and written skills (English)
  • Holds certificates of Specialist training OSHA IOSH (NEBOSH IGC is a plus).
  • Good communication, decision-making, teamwork, and presentation skills.
  • Good computer skills; Experience with Microsoft Office Excel and PowerPoint.

Role Responsibilities:

  1. Implement clients HSE Management systems.
  2. Conduct daily inspections and safety walks to send feedback to HSE manager and department managers on improvements identified to reduce risk in the designated facilities.
  3. Conduct HSE training to raise the capabilities of the team.
  4. Oversee all site construction and other relevant activities.
  5. Prepare regular risk assessments throughout the required facilities.
  6. Ensure all HSE reports are submitted on time as per the required deadlines.
  7. Monitor all personnel in the workplace on safety rules implementation.
  8. Ensure the implementation of the work permit system.
  9. Inspect all manual handling, working at heights, electrical tools, and any related on-site tools to ensure they are in working condition and up to standards.
  10. Follow up on all contractors' work and permits.
  11. Participate in Accident/Incident and Near-miss investigations and prepare relevant reports.
  12. Track environmental metrics and waste segregation and disposal.
  13. Communicate and liaise with governmental bodies and local authorities to ensure HSE compliance with national regulations.
  14. Complete all Project-related documents and ensure the implementation and compliance on site.
