Job description

Job Purpose:

The QHSE Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the development, implementation, and maintenance of QHSE management systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and implementation of quality assurance procedures to ensure products and services meet established standards and customer requirements.

• Conduct regular quality inspections and audits to identify non-conformities, deviations, and areas for improvement.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues, implement corrective actions, and prevent recurrence.

• Support the implementation of occupational health and safety programs and initiatives to promote a safe and healthy work environment.

• Assist in conducting risk assessments and job hazard analyses to identify potential workplace hazards and mitigate risks.

• Facilitate safety training sessions and toolbox talks to promote awareness and compliance with safety policies and procedures.

• Assist in the development and maintenance of environmental management systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and minimize environmental impact.

• Participate in environmental audits and inspections to assess compliance with environmental regulations and company standards.

• Support initiatives to reduce waste, conserve resources, and promote environmental sustainability.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of QHSE activities, including incident reports, inspection findings, corrective actions, and training records.

• Prepare and distribute QHSE performance reports and metrics to management and relevant stakeholders.

• Assist in the preparation of documentation for QHSE certifications and regulatory submissions.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement initiatives to enhance QHSE performance and drive continuous improvement.

• Stay informed about changes in QHSE regulations, standards, and best practices, and recommend updates to policies and procedures as necessary.

• Uphold company values throughout business practices and utilise sound judgment in decision making.

• Any other additional duties as may be required by management based on needs of the business.

Job Requirements :

  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in constructions and/or FM
