S K OVERSEAS HR CONSULTANCY in the United Arab Emirates is seeking an experienced structural inspector to perform visual inspections of structural components in line with engineering drawings and specifications.
Role includes non‑destructive testing (UT and MPT), verification of material certifications and traceability for steel, concrete, and welding consumables, witnessing welding procedures and welder qualifications, and ensuring proper surface preparation before painting or coating.
Conduct thorough visual inspections of structural components ensuring compliance with engineering drawings and specifications.
Perform non‑destructive testing (NDT) such as ultrasonic testing (UT) and magnetic particle testing (MPT) to identify internal and surface defects.
Verify material certifications and traceability for all structural elements, including steel, concrete, and welding consumables.
Witness and document welding procedures and welder qualifications, ensuring adherence to approved methods.
Inspect and verify dimensions, alignment, and surface preparation of structural members prior to painting or coating.
Monitor concrete pouring and curing processes, checking slump, temperature, and formwork integrity.
Maximum age limit is 49 years. For managerial positions, this may be extended up to 50 years if the candidate has significant Gulf experience.
For managerial and senior positions: A minimum of 5 years of Gulf experience in the relevant field is mandatory.
