Job Description

• Review construction drawings, technical specifications, and project requirements.
• Inspect raw materials such as aggregates, cement, steel reinforcement, and admixtures for compliance.
• Production Monitoring:
• Monitor and inspect the precast production process, including casting, curing, demolding, and finishing.
• Ensure correct placement and fixing of reinforcement and embedded items.
• Verify concrete mix design and slump tests during batching.
• Quality Testing:
• Conduct or witness testing such as:
• Compressive strength tests (cube/cylinder)
• Water absorption
• Dimensional checks
• Surface finish evaluation
• Maintain testing records and reports.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Prepare daily inspection reports.
• Record and report non-conformance and initiate corrective actions.
• Maintain quality assurance documentation and traceability records.
• Final Inspection and Dispatch:
• Ensure units are marked, stored, and transported properly to avoid damage.
• Compliance and Safety:
• Ensure compliance with local standards .
• Promote and enforce health and safety practices on the factory floor.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in precast concrete quality control.
• Familiarity with quality management systems (ISO 9001).
• Knowledge of testing procedures for concrete and construction materials.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
