Job summary

Sisco Jobs is recruiting a QC Inspector (Mechanical / Piping) for a leading Oil & Gas client in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The role focuses on mechanical and piping inspections, ensuring compliance with project specs, ITPs, and QA/QC standards.

The candidate will verify materials, welding and installation, review records, and coordinate with engineering and client representatives to ensure quality clearance.

Qualifications

• Must inspect mechanical equipment, piping components, and installation against specs and ITPs.
• Interpret isometrics and drawings to verify tolerances and fit-up.
• Review material certificates, inspection reports, NCRs and QA/QC records.
• Knowledge of WPS, welding processes, and related inspection requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and piping inspections per project specs, drawings, ITPs and standards.
• Inspect piping materials, fabrication, fit-up, welding, installation and supports.
• Verify materials against approved specifications, drawings and certificates.
• Monitor welding activities for compliance with WPS and inspection requirements.
• Review inspection records, test reports and QA/QC documents.
• Identify non-conformities and coordinate corrective actions with teams.
• Witness inspections and testing and maintain inspection records.
• Coordinate with engineering, construction and client reps for clearance.
