A leading company in the automotive industry is seeking a Quality Control (QC) Inspector in Ras Al Khaimah. The role involves ensuring products meet quality standards through inspection and testing, maintaining documentation, and collaborating with teams to implement quality standards. Ideal candidates have a degree in Quality Assurance or Engineering and experience in quality control.
The Quality Control (QC) Inspector is responsible for ensuring that products meet specified quality standards throughout
the production process. This role involves inspecting materials, components, and finished products, conducting tests,
and reporting on quality metrics. The QC Inspector plays a critical role in identifying defects, implementing corrective
actions, and contributing to the overall quality management system within the organization.
Product Inspection and Testing
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished
products.
• Conduct functional and performance tests to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
• Utilize various measurement tools and equipment (e.g., calipers, gauges, and microscopes) to assess product
quality.
Documentation and Reporting
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and non-conformities.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and communicate findings to the production team and management.
• Document and report quality issues and assist in investigating root causes.
Quality Assurance
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to establish quality standards and control procedures.
• Participate in the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives.
• Assist in training production staff on quality control processes and best practices.
Compliance and Standards
• Ensure adherence to industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies regarding quality control.
• Participate in internal and external audits related to quality management systems.
• Support the implementation of ISO and other quality management certifications.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend corrective actions for quality issues.
• Analyze quality data and trends to inform decision-making and enhance product quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives
Desired Candidate Profile
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Quality Assurance,
Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 2-4 years of experience in quality control or inspection in a manufacturing environment.
Person Specifications:
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with quality inspection tools, testing methods, and quality management systems (e.g.,
ISO).
• Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to identify defects and ensure compliance with
standards.
