QC Inspector

We are looking for a meticulous and experienced QC Inspector to join our team in the UAE. The role is responsible for ensuring that materials, workmanship, and processes comply with quality standards, project specifications, and regulatory requirements across all phases of production or construction.

Key Responsibilities

1. Conduct inspections on incoming materials, in-process activities, and final outputs to ensure compliance with quality standards.
2. Review and interpret drawings, specifications, and standards applicable to quality inspections.
3. Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of findings, non-conformities, and corrective actions.
4. Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors to ensure quality practices are followed.
5. Perform root cause analysis for non-conformities and support implementation of corrective/preventive measures.
6. Ensure calibration and maintenance of inspection tools and testing equipment.
7. Participate in internal and external audits and support certification processes as required.
8. Monitor and report on quality control metrics and trends for continuous improvement.
9. Ensure compliance with local UAE regulatory standards and international codes (e.g., ISO, ASME, API).
10. Provide regular updates to the QA/QC Manager and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

1. Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
2. 3-5 years of experience as a QC Inspector in construction, manufacturing, oil & gas, or a relevant industry.
3. Familiarity with international quality standards (ISO 9001, ASME, ASTM, etc.).
4. Experience with inspection tools, gauges, and measurement techniques.
5. Strong understanding of materials testing, visual inspection, and welding/NDT processes (if applicable).
6. Excellent documentation and reporting skills.
7. Certification such as CSWIP, AWS-CWI, or equivalent is an advantage (if applicable to the industry).
8. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
9. Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
10. Must be based in the UAE or willing to relocate.
