Job summary

A leading engineering company is seeking an experienced QC Engineer specializing in Mechanical & Piping for an EPC project in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will oversee quality assurance and control processes within the oil and gas industry, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards. Candidates must have extensive experience, including a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering and relevant certifications. Immediate availability in the UAE is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of industrial experience, with 8+ years in QA/QC.
  • Mandatory EPC project experience.
  • CSWIP 3.1 Welding Certification and ASNT Level II in RT, UT, MT, PT.

Responsibilities

  • Review procurement activities and vendor documentation.
  • Conduct visual, dimensional, and orientation inspections.
  • Prepare and approve final quality dossiers.

Job Description:
We are hiring aQC Engineerwith strong experience in Mechanical & Piping disciplines for an EPC project in Habshan.EPC project experience is mandatory.The ideal candidate will have a solid background in QA/QC processes within the oil and gas or petrochemical industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review procurement activities and vendor documentation
  • Conduct Welding Procedure Qualification Tests and Welder Performance Qualification Tests
  • Perform stage-wise inspections as per approved ITP
  • Prepare QA/QC deliverables including ITPs and procedures
  • Implement WPS and monitor welding activities
  • Inspect piping, steel structures, static equipment, and related installations
  • Ensure compliance with ASME U & R Stamp certifications
  • Conduct visual, dimensional, and orientation inspections
  • Perform walk-downs and verify punch point closures
  • Monitor site execution to ensure adherence to codes and specifications
  • Coordinate with project quality representatives
  • Prepare and approve final quality dossiers
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum 10 years of industrial experience, with 8+ years in QA/QC
  • Minimum 5 years in oil and gas or petrochemical projects
  • Mandatory EPC project experience
  • CSWIP 3.1 Welding Certification
  • BGAS Grade 2 / Painting Inspection Certification
  • ASNT Level II in RT, UT, MT, PT
  • Hands-on experience in welding, NDT, and coating/painting
  • Experience in ADNOC group projects preferred
  • ADNOC approval as QA/QC Engineer in current or previous roles preferred
