Job summary

A leading company in the oil and gas sector is looking for a Mechanical Piping Engineer with a strong background in quality control. This role requires significant experience in project quality auditing and expertise in non-destructive testing. Apply if you have a bachelor's degree in mechanical or metallurgical engineering, along with relevant certifications. Candidates familiar with ADNOC and similar companies will be given preference.

Qualifications

• Min. 10 years in Oil & Gas Projects required.
• Hands-on experience in pipeline, pressure vessels, and static equipment inspections.

Job Description

1. Bachelor of mechanical or metallurgical engineering, or other relevant engineering degree.

2. Certified ISO 9001 Internal Auditor.

3. ASNT NDT Level II in RT, UT,MT & PT

4. CSWIP 3.1 or AWS-CWI or another acceptable equivalent (approved by Company)

5. Having a total of min.10 years in the Oil & Gas Projects

6. Hands on experience in welding NDT and coating/painting.

7. Good command in Project Quality auditing.

8. Strong coordination and reporting skills.

10. Preferably with ADNOC or similar Oil & Gas Company experience and approval.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Familiarity with international codes and standards (API 570, API 1104, ASME B31.3, AWS D1.1, NACE, etc.).
• Experience in pipeline, pressure vessels, and static equipment inspections.
• Strong knowledge of root cause analysis, non-destructive testing (NDT) techniques, and quality documentation.
