QAQC TECHNICAL ENGINEER

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain quality control procedures, inspection schedules, and documentation for all architectural fitout activities.
• Review project specifications, IFC drawings, and material submittals to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Conduct site inspections for in-progress and completed works, ensuring all activities are executed according to approved drawings and QA/QC standards.
• Identify nonconformities and ensure timely corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, and subcontractors on quality-related issues.
• Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation such as inspection test plans (ITPs), method statements, checklists, and quality reports.
• Participate in project meetings, technical reviews, and quality audits.
• Support handover documentation including as-built drawings, warranties, and O&M manuals.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of UAE experience in the architectural fitout industry.
• Strong knowledge of fitout materials, detailing, finishes, and installation standards.
• Prior experience in hotel or luxury hospitality projects is a strong advantage.
• Familiar with local authority regulations and international QA/QC standards.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and document control systems.
• Currently based in the UAE.
