Job summary

EVOLVEX TECHNOLOGY is seeking an experienced QA Tester in Dubai to ensure high-quality web applications. The candidate will perform functional, regression, smoke, and end-to-end testing, and verify UI/UX alignment with Figma designs.

On-site work in Dubai is required, with collaboration across developers, PMs and designers to deliver robust releases. The role emphasizes API testing, detailed bug reporting, and user acceptance testing to validate features against requirements.

Qualifications

Job description

We are looking for an experienced QA Tester to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate has 3–4 years of professional QA experience, a good understanding of software development, and strong attention to both functionality and UI/UX quality.

Responsibilities

Perform functional, regression, smoke, integration, and end-to-end testing across web applications.

Conduct smoke testing after releases and updates, checking critical system functions before proceeding with detailed testing.

Identify, reproduce, document, and track frontend and backend bugs.

Create clear bug reports including steps to reproduce, expected vs. actual results, screenshots/videos, and relevant technical details.

Test new features against business and technical requirements before release.

Test APIs, payment systems, and third-party integrations and identify integration-related issues.

Work closely with developers, Project Managers, and designers throughout development and release cycles.

Compare implemented interfaces with Figma designs and identify visual inconsistencies, responsive issues, and UI/UX problems.

Participate in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and release validation.

Identify edge cases and potential issues beyond predefined test scenarios.

Create and maintain structured test cases, test scenarios, and QA documentation.

Requirements

3–4 years of professional QA / Software Testing experience.

Strong experience in manual testing of web applications.

Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and QA processes.

Good understanding of frontend and backend systems.

Experience with API and integration testing.

Understanding of UI/UX principles and ability to work with Figma designs.

Ability to communicate technical issues clearly to developers.

Experience with tools such as Jira or ClickUp.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

High attention to detail.

Good written and spoken English.

Must be able to work full-time on-site in Dubai.
