We are seeking a seasoned QA Test Manager to lead and continuously improve our quality assurance processes. This role requires deep experience in both manual and automation testing , with a strong focus on backend APIs and database validation . As a team leader, you will mentor QA engineers, drive testing strategy, and ensure best practices are followed across all QA activities. Familiarity with blockchain technologies is highly preferred.

3. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES :

Description

Leadership & Team Management

• Manage, mentor, and develop the QA team to align with company goals
• Set clear team objectives, conduct performance reviews, and provide ongoing feedback
• Foster a collaborative, high-performance team environment

Quality Assurance & Testing

• Define and execute both manual and automated test strategies to ensure product quality
• Create comprehensive test plans, documentation, and test reports
• Conduct thorough backend API testing including functionality, performance, and automation
• Manage database testing to ensure data integrity and consistency
• Continuously evaluate and implement modern tools and testing practices
• Collaborate with product, development, and operations teams to ensure seamless testing workflows
• Monitor and respond to customer support tickets related to software issues
• Act as the primary liaison between QA and senior management, providing regular updates on progress, blockers, and quality status

4. COMMUNICATIONS & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS :

• Work closely with cross-functional teams (Product, Development, DevOps, Support)
• Report directly to management with updates on QA performance, risks, and improvements
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define QA metrics and expectations
• Maintain strong internal communication to ensure alignment on software quality goals

5. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS :

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Experience

• Proven track record in manual and automation testing
• Strong experience with backend API and database testing
• Experience in leading and mentoring QA teams
• Exposure to blockchain technologies is a strong plus

Technical Skills

• Proficient with tools such as :

Selenium, Cypress, Rest Assured, Postman, Apache JMeter

• Strong command of SQL and hands-on database testing
• Solid understanding of QA methodologies , bug tracking, and documentation best practices
