An established industry player is seeking a seasoned QA/QC Manager with extensive experience in the oil and gas sector. This pivotal role involves supervising QA/QC activities during the fabrication of mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring compliance with engineering standards, and managing quality issues effectively. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical fabrication, recognized QA/QC certifications, and a keen eye for detail. Supervise QA/QC activities during fabrication of mechanical and E&I systems.
Conduct inspections and tests in accordance with approved ITPs and quality plans.
Ensure all fabrication work complies with engineering drawings, specifications, and codes.
Identify and manage non-conformances and support corrective and preventive actions.
Interface with welding, electrical, and instrumentation teams to resolve quality issues.
Maintain accurate quality records and prepare reports for project and client teams.
Support pre-commissioning and punch-list activities prior to offshore loadout.
Minimum 15 years of QA/QC experience in oil and gas, with offshore and fabrication yard exposure.
Strong background in mechanical fabrication and E&I installation and inspection.
Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., ASME, API, IEC, IEEE).
Recognized QA/QC certifications (e.g., CSWIP, AWS, NACE, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor) preferred.
Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.
Offshore certification (e.g., BOSIET) preferred or required depending on project scope.
