QA/QC Manager – Luxury Design & Build

Job summary

Alpago Design & Build seeks an experienced Quality Assurance & Quality Control (QA/QC) Manager to uphold luxury project quality across design and build works. You will develop QA/QC policies, implement ITPs, conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with drawings, specs and UAE regulations.

The role requires coordinating with Design, Project Management, Construction and Commercial teams to deliver exceptional finishes for luxury residential and design & build projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Proven QA/QC management experience in construction, fit-out, or design & build.
• Experience on high-end residential, luxury villas, hospitality or commercial projects.
• Strong knowledge of QA/QC processes, inspection, and ITP development.
• Excellent communication and coordination across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain QA/QC policies, procedures and systems.
• Establish project-specific Quality Plans and inspection regimes (ITPs).
• Conduct site inspections to monitor construction, fit-out and finishing works.
• Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, materials and project requirements.
• Inspect materials and workmanship for quality conformance.
• Identify defects and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Monitor corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence.
• Coordinate with project teams to resolve quality-related issues.
• Review and approve quality documentation and inspection requests.
• Conduct internal quality audits and prepare quality performance reports.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, non-conformances and actions.
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, standards and client requirements.
• Provide guidance to project teams and subcontractors on quality matters.
• Identify opportunities to improve quality processes across the business.
• Support handovers and ensure works meet quality standards before completion.
