We are now seeking a QA/QC Manager to join our team. This critical role involves directing, monitoring, and facilitating best practices related to quality assurance.

Responsibilities

1. Inspect sites before construction activities commence.
2. Review all contractor quality and testing submissions for contract compliance.
3. Attend and contribute to contractor QA/QC meetings.
4. Assist in reviews of the Quality Management System.
5. Conduct training sessions.
6. Report on quality performance at construction meetings.
7. Coordinate with the client's QA/QC representative for feedback.
8. Address and close all complaints.
9. Provide guidance and information to engineering staff to handle key issues effectively.
10. Monitor the close-out of all non-conformances in coordination with engineering staff.
11. Produce an QA/QC audit schedule and undertake audits of contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors if applicable.
12. Verify that all works are conducted according to approved procedures.
13. Maintain up-to-date quality records and proper filing.
14. Review contractor's monthly QA/QC reports.
15. Review contractor's submittals from a QA perspective.
16. Ensure contractors carry out all tests as per specifications.
17. Perform other duties relevant to the role.
18. Support external communications systems by offering guidance and advice.
19. Supervise construction projects, working within established operational systems.
20. Follow health, safety, and environmental policies, procedures, and instructions to mitigate risks and ensure safety.
21. Assign short-term work schedules to team members to meet expectations within timelines.
22. Communicate the local action plan, motivate staff, and align with organizational goals.
23. Use performance management systems to improve personal and team performance.
24. Provide coaching to develop team skills.
25. Plan and coordinate testing and inspection of products and processes, implementing corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
26. Identify and escalate instances of non-compliance with policies, procedures, or regulatory codes.
27. Assist senior colleagues in managing client and customer relationships using relevant systems.
