Job summary

A leading company in the UAE is seeking a QA/QC Inspector for overseeing quality inspections during the production of plastic pipes. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Plastic or Polymer Engineering and 3-5 years of experience in QA/QC within the piping industry. Strong communication skills and an understanding of quality standards are essential.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience as a QA/QC Inspector.
• Practical experience in quality testing of plastic products.
• Certification in quality control or assurance like ISO -QMS is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-line quality inspections throughout the production cycle.

Job Description

- Conducting on-line quality inspections throughout the production cycle.

- Conduct all quality test activities of PVC Pipes/HDPE as per the different standards and specifications.

- Monitoring the threading and slotting functions of pipe manufacturing.

- Ensure quality of the products on every stages of production up to finished products.

- Report to the QA Manager immediately in case of any quality discrepancies.

- Perform all the tasks that may be assigned by the QA Manager from time to time.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualification:

BE /B tech in Plastic or polymer Engineering /Technology or Post Graduate Diploma in Plastic Processing and Testing or Post Graduate Diploma in Plastic Testing & Conversion Technology or Post Gradudate Diploma in Plastic Technology(CIPET).

Experience:

Having 3-5 years of experience as a QA/QC Inspector in a reputed HDPE and PVC Pipes and fittings manufacturing industry. Practical experience in quality testing of plastic products through the extrusion process with sound knowledge of quality testing according to International Standards.

Good Communication skills in English and a flexible nature.

Any certification in quality control or assurance like ISO -QMS, will be an added advantage.
