Job summary

Opus Recruit supports a leading Dubai contracting firm in its search for an experienced HSEQ Manager. The role focuses on quality management and implementation of HSEQ processes to ensure safe operations and legal compliance.

The ideal candidate will have NEBOSH, a related BSc and an internal audit/lead auditor qualification, with a proven track record in ISO certifications and leading a safety team. The position is based in Downtown Dubai.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in HSEQ management systems implementation.
• Ability to promote a positive health and safety culture.
• Experience with ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 9001 and related audits.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update HSEQ documentation across the organisation.
• Ensure ISO certifications are maintained and audits are completed.
• Advise management on HSEQ matters and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead investigations into incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Manage training needs and bookings for CSCS/CPCS and e-learning.
• Oversee third-party relationships and insurance matters.
• Monitor legislation and ensure compliance across operations.
• Lead a small team of direct reports and develop capabilities.
