Job summary
A multinational engineering company is seeking a QA/QC Engineer to provide technical support to maintenance teams and manage equipment maintenance strategies. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, at least 5 years of experience, and strong knowledge of industry codes. Excellent leadership and communication skills are essential for this role. Additional responsibilities include participating in Root Cause Analysis and performing regular audits.

Title:
QA/QC Engineer(Mechanical, rotating, E&I)
To provide technical support to the Refinery's maintenance and operational teams and ensure that all routine, preventive and turnaround maintenance activities are in line with SATORP's standards and reliability best practices
1. Define, manage and review equipment maintenance strategies, develop maintenance procedures to support these strategies and provide technical assistance and trouble-shooting support for all equipment, as required.
2. Participate in the of Root Cause Analysis as part of the process for addressing Bad Actor lists, facilitate critical studies; provide coaching and mentoring to other engineers capable of facilitating RCA studies. Provide support in developing new software.
3. Ensure developing and maintaining an effective action tracking system for Root Cause Analysis findings and recommendations and reporting in case of discrepancies.
4. Define spare part requirements for all Refinery equipment, employing Risk Based Maintenance and Failure Mode, Effects, and Criticality Analysis techniques (FMECA).
5. Perform regular audits to ensure working capital is optimised, stock levels are maintained and spares for obsolete equipment are removed in coordination with concerned personnel.
6. Participate in Total FORCE audits, Solomon Surveys and other benchmarking exercises to ensure the SATORP reliability programs is focused on the important issues to improve overall Refinery availability performance.
7. Develop and follow up on Incident tracking system for SATORP refinery.
8. Manage and prioritize bad actors with updated action plan for refinery.
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
