Your Role

As Junior QA/QC Engineer – MEP, you will:

• Conduct daily site surveillance and report deficiencies to avoid recurring issues
• Perform work inspections using digital workflows in coordination with the execution team, subcontractors, and consultants
• Manage data input and comment tracking across QA/QC records and inspection logs
• Coordinate field tests with third-party labs, maintain accurate test logs and documentation
• Monitor subcontractor compliance with ITPs and ensure timely inspection requests
• Assist in implementing and verifying corrective/preventive actions for NCRs
• Participate in snagging and de-snagging processes using digital tools
• Conduct T&C inspections in line with project commissioning plans
• Collaborate on MEP handover deliverables including O&M manuals, warranties, and spares
• Monitor Fire & Life Safety activities with the Firestop Engineer to ensure compliance
• Support DLP-related inspections and snag rectifications
• Provide weekly and monthly status updates on QA/QC deliverables for assigned packages
• Flag any rejections or comments that may result in unnecessary rework
• Maintain daily site diaries and ensure all records are uploaded to ALEC servers
• Support site progress reporting using Power BI dashboards and quality analytics
• Align your performance with ALEC Smart Goals and QA/QC digital initiatives

What We’re Looking For

• Diploma or higher in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or related technical field)
• 2–5 years of experience in construction, preferably in building services or utilities sectors
• Understanding of MEP systems and construction sequencing
• Familiarity with QA/QC digital platforms (e.g., BIM 360, Aconex, PMWeb)
• Tech-savvy mindset with a passion for quality and innovation
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills
• Positive attitude and team-oriented personality
