Job Description

1. Develop and implement Quality Control Plans (QCPs) for projects.
2. Review and interpret contract documents, drawings, and specifications.
3. Establish and maintain quality control procedures and checklists.
4. Conduct regular inspections and tests to ensure compliance with project requirements.
5. Monitor and document all inspection and test results.
6. Identify and document any non-conformances observed during inspections or tests.
7. Issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and track their resolution.
8. Implement corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence of quality issues.
9. Inspect and verify the quality of incoming materials and equipment.
10. Ensure proper storage and handling of materials.
11. Conduct witness tests on critical materials and equipment.
12. Prepare and maintain detailed quality control records and reports.
13. Prepare and submit inspection reports and test certificates.
14. Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and best practices.
15. Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
16. Attend project meetings and participate in quality control reviews.
17. Resolve quality-related issues in a timely and effective manner.

Desired Candidate Profile

1. Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
2. 3-5 years of experience as a QA/QC Engineer in the relevant industry.
3. Strong knowledge of mechanical codes, standards, and specifications (e.g., ASME, API, AWS).
4. Experience with quality control procedures and documentation.
5. Proficiency in reading and interpreting equipment drawings and specifications.
