JOB OVERVIEW:

We are seeking an experienced QA/QC Engineer to join our team in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance and quality control processes, as well as experience in ensuring compliance with project specifications, standards, and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop, implement, and maintain the quality assurance plans and procedures to ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
2. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of quality control processes and recommend improvements as necessary.
3. Prepare and maintain quality-related documentation, including inspection reports, test plans, and non-conformance reports (NCRs).
4. Conduct regular site inspections to verify that construction processes and materials comply with quality standards and project specifications.
5. Coordinate and oversee material testing, including concrete strength, soil compaction, and welding inspections.
6. Collaborate with project teams, including engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers, to ensure quality standards are achieved throughout all phases of the construction process.
7. Communicate quality-related issues and discrepancies to project management and provide solutions or corrective actions.
8. Provide quality training and awareness sessions for site staff and other stakeholders to ensure understanding of quality procedures and expectations.
9. Stay updated on industry trends, standards, and best practices in quality assurance and construction quality management.
10. Conduct internal and external audits to assess compliance with quality standards and regulations. Prepare for third-party audits and inspections and address any findings or recommendations.
