Job Position – QA/QC Engineer

Job Type: Full-time

Preferred: Candidates who can join immediately

For a candidate with 3 to 5 years of experience in quality assurance and quality control, specifically within infrastructure, utilities, or large-scale construction projects in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, a keen eye for detail and the ability to ensure compliance with project specifications, authority standards, and industry best practices.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain the project quality management system in line with contract requirements, ISO standards and authority guidelines (RTA, DM, DEWA, etc.).
• Review and approve material submittals, inspection test plans (ITPs), method statements and quality-related documentation.
• Conduct site inspections, material testing and quality audits to ensure compliance with approved specifications and standards.
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and subcontractors to resolve quality issues and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Prepare and maintain quality records, inspection reports, and non-conformance reports (NCRs) and track close-out activities.
• Liaise with third-party testing laboratories and authorities for material approvals and testing requirements.
• Ensure all construction activities comply with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in QA/QC, with a strong focus on infrastructure and utilities projects.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working in the UAE, with solid knowledge of local authority requirements and quality standards.
• Strong understanding of ISO 9001, material testing methods, and construction quality processes.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and quality management software.
• Valid UAE driving license is preferred.
