Job description

The QA/QC Engineer ensures quality standards and compliance for civil and finishing works in a construction project. The role involves monitoring and implementing quality control procedures, conducting inspections, and coordinating with various teams to ensure work meets specifications, codes, and safety standards.

1. Monitor and enforce quality standards for civil and finishing works, ensuring compliance with project specifications, drawings, and regulations.
2. Conduct regular inspections of construction activities and materials, identifying issues and ensuring corrective actions are taken.
3. Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and compliance reports, ensuring all documentation is up to date and accessible.
4. Work closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve quality-related issues and ensure smooth project execution.
5. Coordinate and oversee material and product testing, report findings, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
6. Ensure all work complies with safety and environmental regulations and manage quality audits as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in QA/QC within civil or finishing works, preferably in a Tier 1 construction environment.
• Strong knowledge of quality control processes, construction methods, and industry standards; proficiency in relevant QA/QC tools and software.
• Excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and the capability to work effectively in a team environment.
