Job description

Job Responsibilities

1. Responsible for implementing all architectural projects, including Design, Construction Documents, Permitting, Bidding, and Construction Administration.
2. Design buildings to create unique and well-organized structures.
3. Meet with clients to discuss their vision, draw up building plans, and modify designs throughout the building process to maximize structural integrity.
4. Coordinate with and communicate with other disciplines involved in the project.
5. Serve as liaison between the project architect, engineer, and contractor.
6. Maintain daily logs reflecting accurate records of all job-site activities and inspections; determine the percentage of work completed and materials used; review pay estimates for approval.
7. Ensure compliance of architectural works with design requirements, specifications, and project plans.
8. Prepare daily logs and reports.
9. Maintain records of all submittals, testing, inspections, tests performed, and work executed.
10. Perform all work in accordance with the Contract Administration Procedures Manual.

Minimum Requirements

1. 6-8 years of extensive experience in civil engineering and the construction industry in the UAE, with a strong background in structural and architectural projects.
2. Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
3. Knowledge of Construction and Project Management.
4. Experience in Quantity Surveying, Quality Assurance & Quality Control.
5. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
6. Preferred to have own visa or freelance visa.
7. Must be available in the UAE.
