Job summary

Emirates Marble in Ajman is seeking a QA/QC Engineer to join our on-site team and ensure quality across materials, processes, and installations. The role requires a solid QA background in marble, stone, or related manufacturing and hands-on collaboration with production staff.

Qualifications

Role Description

The QA/QC Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Ajman, responsible for monitoring and improving product and process quality within marble manufacturing and installation activities. The role includes developing and implementing quality procedures, conducting inspections of incoming materials and finished products, and verifying compliance with internal standards and client specifications. The QA/QC Engineer will prepare and maintain quality documentation, review test reports, and coordinate corrective and preventive actions with production and project teams. Daily responsibilities also involve collaborating with supervisors and technicians to resolve non-conformities, supporting process improvements, and providing quality-related guidance to ensure safe, efficient, and consistent operations.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Quality Control and Inspection to monitor materials, production processes, and finished products.
• Candidates should possess skills in Quality Assurance and Quality Management to develop, implement, and maintain quality systems, procedures, and standards.
• Candidates should possess skills in Quality Auditing to perform internal audits, identify gaps, and recommend improvements.
• Relevant engineering degree or diploma (Civil, Industrial, Mechanical, or related field) and practical experience in QA/QC, preferably in marble, stone, construction, or manufacturing environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and industry standards.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and interact with clients and suppliers when required.
• Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations and commitment to safe working practices.
• Proficiency in basic office software and quality reporting tools; knowledge of ISO or similar quality frameworks is an advantage.
