Lead QA/QC Engineer

If you have 5 Years Plus Lead QA/QC Engineering experience in the UAE for a Marine Works Main Contractor, then it's worth you reviewing this exciting role based in Abu Dhabi. Our client is a Tier 1 Main Contractor with a strong pipeline of work, including a 520 Million AED Construction Project based on Al Nourai Island just off Yas Island in Abu Dhabi.

If you have clear technical construction experience in a Quality Capacity handling the following types of work, then our client will want to see your CV:

1. Rock Works and shore protection
2. Groynes & Breakwater Development
3. Quay walls & Revetment
4. Dredging & reclamation
5. Marine Structures – berths, jetties, terminals, offshore-piling & precast structures

As the Lead Quality Control and Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for the Quality Management System (QMS) on site. You will lead the quality team and ensure that all standards are met in line with the contract, driving best practices across the quality team while promoting an open collaborative approach.

Duties in the role consist of:

1. Quality Management System Implementation
2. Performance Monitoring
3. Reporting
4. Quality Control at All Phases
5. Material Requisition and Receiving
6. Training Development
7. KPI Development and Reporting
8. Auditing supply chain & sub-contractors

Following is CRITICAL:

1. Degree Educated – Civil Engineering
2. 15 Years Post Grad experience
3. Auditing Experience in the Middle East on Marine & Civil Projects in a Lead QAQC Engineer capacity
4. Tier 1 & 2 Main Contractor experience on relevant Marine projects
5. A solid career history that shows success and project completions
6. Based in the UAE and able to attend face-to-face interviews
