Job summary

Core Laboratories is seeking a QHSE Supervisor for the Middle East to manage and coordinate health, safety, environmental and quality functions in line with corporate policies. You may lead a small team depending on location and act as advisor to the manager on HSEQ matters.

You will create and implement HSEQ programs for the assigned location, ensure local regulatory compliance, conduct training and investigations, and support audits. Fluency in English and local language required.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 5 years of HSEQ experience.
• Knowledge of the company’s HSEQ policies and procedures.
• Good verbal and written knowledge of the local language and English.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Valid driving license and satisfactory driving record.
• Knowledge about the ME region.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement HSEQ program for assigned location in compliance with corporate and local health safety environmental quality HSEQ rules and regulations.
• Ensure that the organization’s HSEQ program complies with customer requirements.
• Plan implement and conduct a comprehensive HSEQ training program for all location employees to ensure that they are fully knowledgeable in the organisation’s safety & environmental policies and procedures.
• Maintain all necessary certification accreditation requirements.
• Conduct accident injury investigations and cooperate in the preparation of material and evidence for hearings and investigations.
• Regularly inspect the organization’s facilities to detect hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Lead the company’s HSEQ meetings and assist other locations/departments as directed.

SUMMARY

The QHSE Supervisor for the Middle East manages and coordinates the company s health safety environmental and quality function in accordance with corporate policies and procedures to meet the company s business requirements for the Middle East Issues and provides HSEQ reports to the manager and regulatory authorities Acts as an advisor towards manager regarding HSEQ matters May manage a small team depending on location

DUTIES amp RESPONSIBILITIES

Create and implement HSEQ program for assigned location in compliance with corporate and local health safety environmental quality HSEQ rules and regulations Ensure that the organization s HSEQ program complies with customer requirements Maintain regular contact with customer and industry HSEQ personnel to ensure that new developments requirements are factored into the organization s HSEQ protocols Plan implement and conduct a comprehensive HSEQ training program for all location employees to ensure that they are fully knowledgeable in the organisation s safety amp environmental policies and procedures Maintain all necessary certification accreditation requirements Conduct accident injury investigations and cooperate in the preparation of material and evidence for the organisation s use in hearings lawsuits and insurance investigations Regularly inspect the organization s facilities to detect existing or potential accidents and health hazards determine corrective or preventative measures where indicated and follow up to ensure measures have been implemented Provide information signs posters barriers and other materials to warn of potential and actual safety hazards and to prevent access to hazardous conditions Ensure that all pertinent HSEQ notices are posted correctly and updated as necessary Assist with fire drills and disaster planning Lead the company s HSEQ meetings and assist other locations facilities BU s departments as directed Assist in assuring compliance with the organization s quality system

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Bachelor s degree Minimum 5 years of HSEQ experience Knowledge of the company s HSEQ policies and procedures Good verbal and written knowledge of the local language and English Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations Advanced computer skills MS Windows Word Excel company systems Valid driving license and satisfactory driving record Knowledge about the ME region
