Job summary

Global Cybersecurity Jobs is seeking a QA Engineer / Platform Engineer to ensure software quality, reliability, and efficient development and deployment. You will collaborate with software developers, DevOps, and product teams to build reliable systems and improve testing practices across the platform.

The role involves designing and executing test plans, identifying defects, supporting root-cause investigations, and contributing to automated testing, CI/CD improvements, and platform automation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of software testing, quality assurance, system reliability, and software development processes.
• Familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar technologies.
• Knowledge of programming or scripting languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, Bash, or similar.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git, build processes, and deployment practices.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is an advantage.
• Knowledge of containers and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is an advantage.
• Understanding of system monitoring, logging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate across technical teams.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to software quality and system reliability.
• Proactive mindset with an interest in automation, DevOps, platform engineering, and continuous improvement.
