Job summary

Cinergie Digital is recruiting a QA Engineer – DCS & Baggage Handling for its Dubai operations. The role focuses on validating software quality and reliability across Departure Control Systems and Baggage Handling Systems through end-to-end testing, defect tracking, database verification, and cross-functional collaboration with engineering teams.

Ideal candidates will have 3–5 years of QA experience, hands-on DCS/BHS expertise, API testing (REST/SOAP) and SQL validation, plus JIRA and TestRail

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/SE or related field required.
• 3–5 years QA experience in airline/airport systems preferred.
• Hands-on DCS & Baggage Handling expertise required.
• Experience with REST/SOAP API testing and SQL validation.
• Proficiency with JIRA and TestRail expected.

Responsibilities

• Execute functional, regression, integration, and system-level testing for aviation systems.
• Design, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
• Perform API testing across REST and SOAP architectures.
• Execute SQL queries and data validation to verify app data integrity.
• Log, track, and manage defects through resolution with standard testing platforms.
• Collaborate with development teams to resolve system defects and streamline delivery.

Candidate Prerequisites

• 3–5 Years QA Experience


• Hands-on DCS & Baggage Handling Systems (BHS) Expertise


• API (REST/SOAP) & SQL Database Testing


• JIRA & TestRail Proficiency

Duties & Responsibilities

• Execute functional, regression, integration, and system-level testing routines for aviation systems.


• Design, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.


• Perform API testing across REST and SOAP service architectures.


• Execute SQL queries and database testing to verify application data integrity.


• Log, track, and manage software defects through resolution using standard testing platforms.


• Collaborate with development teams to resolve system defects and streamline software delivery.

Skill Set & Qualifications

• Education & Work Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or a related field; 3 to 5 years of quality assurance experience within airline or airport systems.


• Technical Proficiency: Expertise in DCS, Baggage Handling Systems (BHS), REST/SOAP API testing, SQL queries, and database validation.


• Essential Skills: Hands-on experience with JIRA, TestRail, SDLC, STLC methodologies, defect management, and regression testing workflows.
