About Wynn Al Marjan Island

On schedule to open in the United Arab Emirates in early 2027, Wynn Al Marjan Island has been created as an opulent and entertaining beachside destination for discerning guests to play and relax. Located less than 50 minutes from Dubai International Airport, this integrated resort offering 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants and lounges, a theatre, nightclub, and five-star spa is currently under construction on a picturesque island that gracefully curves into the Arabian Gulf.

About The Position

Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking a QA Engineer to join the resort’s Information Technology team.

The Primary Duties And Responsibilities Of This Role Are

• Take charges of QA for our solutions and develop cutting-edge services that will transform the hospitality industry in the UAE
• Perform manual testing to detect and reproduce bugs
• Integrate regression testing, function testing, exploratory testing into QA process
• Write auto tests for APIs, conduct load testing
• Develop auto tests for Web interfaces
• Enable visibility of our services through metrics, dashboards and alerts
• Help ensure smooth and regular releases of new features with little to no bugs, coordinating and communicating with developers
• Ensure Incident & Problem management procedures are diligently followed
• Implement and drive automation focused on productivity improvements
  
  

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required in computer science, information technology, mathematics or related field
• 5+ years of QA experience with large-scale applications
• Extensive experience as a QA engineer in front end and backend testing within startups and enterprise
• Strong knowledge of Python, JavaScript, Playwright, SQL, REST
• Experience with load testing solutions such as K6
• Proficiency in testing with focus on Automated end to end quality
• Understanding of monitoring tools such as Kibana, DataDog, NewRelic
• Experience collaborating in Agile Scrum teams
• Ability to mentor other engineers
• Ability to work independently as well as in a group
