Job Description

- Strong knowledge in migrating on-premise databases to AWS.

- Develop migration strategies using AWS tools.

- Responsible for designing enterprise data management frameworks, data security, and compliance.

- Focus on designing and implementing data management frameworks, infrastructure management, security, database migration, and data warehousing.

- Possess strong strategic thinking and data modeling skills; hands-on experience with programming languages, data pipelines, relational databases, and NoSQL databases.

- Explore solutions with newer technologies and build POCs for proposed solutions on AWS when needed.

- Design frameworks and policies governing data collection, storage, and management within the organization.

- Ensure the designs, schemas, and pipelines are suitable, scalable, and functional, including workflow automation, analytics, event notifications, and streaming.

- Guide the team to develop prototypes, refine layouts, and prepare exports for stakeholders as per requirements.

- Experience in designing data pipelines using cloud-based ETL tools and programming languages like Python.

- Connect with relational, IBM iSeries, SaaS products like Salesforce, and populate data into cloud-based data warehouses like Snowflake or Databricks.

- Interact with end-users to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

- Develop data strategies and architectures to meet client needs.

- Design conceptual and logical data models supporting business requirements.

- Work with Git, Confluence, and JIRA.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of Python or similar scripting languages used in developing AWS Lambda/Glue scripts.

- Solid understanding of RDBMS concepts.

- Experience designing multi-tenant databases, especially Snowflake.

- Exposure to ETL tools like IICS.

- Experience working with onsite-offshore teams and representing offshore teams to clients.

- Knowledge of database security, compliance, and scalability.
