Job summary

T-ALL Inspection Group in Abu Dhabi is seeking skilled PWHT Operators to join a growing team on oil and gas pipeline projects. The role focuses on post weld heat treatment operations, adherence to WPS and PWHT procedures, and ensuring accurate temperature control.

Candidates should have at least five years of PWHT experience, familiarity with ASME or ADNOC environments, and the ability to read technical English documents.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of PWHT experience in oil & gas or petrochemical projects.
• Experience in ASME or ADNOC environments is highly preferred.
• Strong ability to read technical instructions in English.
• Familiarity with welding procedures (WPS) and heat treatment requirements.
• Proficient in recording heat treatment charts and logs.
• Ability to coordinate with welding and QC teams during hold points.

Responsibilities

• Operate PWHT equipment including electrical resistance heating systems and temperature recorders.
• Execute post weld heat treatment activities according to WPS and PWHT procedures.
• Control heating, soaking, and cooling cycles.
• Install thermocouples and monitor temperature distribution.
• Record and maintain heat treatment temperature charts and logs.
• Coordinate with welding and QC teams during hold and witness points.

Positions Available: 2

• Operate PWHT equipment including electrical resistance heating systems and temperature recorders
• Execute post weld heat treatment activities in accordance with approved WPS and PWHT procedures
• Control heating, soaking, and cooling cycles according to engineering requirements
• Install thermocouples and monitor temperature distribution during heat treatment
• Record and maintain accurate heat treatment temperature charts and logs
• Coordinate with welding and QC teams during hold and witness points
• Minimum 5 years of experience in PWHT operations in oil & gas or petrochemical projects
• Experience in ASME or ADNOC project environments is highly preferred
• Basic understanding of welding procedures (WPS) and heat treatment requirements
