Job summary

EDGE is seeking a Heat Treatment Technician in Abu Dhabi to set up and operate furnaces, perform hardening, tempering, quenching, annealing, PWHT and related processes. You will monitor temperatures, record process data, inspect components, and support foundry operations while ensuring safety and quality standards.

Required: high school diploma, minimum three years in heat treatment, ability to read blueprints and communicate in English; lifting up to 20 kg.

Qualifications

High school diploma required; college diploma or heat treatment training preferred.
Minimum three years' experience in heat treatment as a technician.
Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings.
Ability to communicate effectively in English, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate heat treatment furnaces and related equipment safely.
Carry out heat treatment processes: hardening, tempering, quenching, annealing, PWHT.
Monitor furnace temperature, heating/cooling rates, and record parameters.
Verify hardness and conformance to drawings using precision instruments.
Assist foundry operations and casting processes as required.
Maintain complete, traceable records of heat treatment data.
