Purchasing Specialist

Manage procurement activities, including sourcing, negotiation, and supplier relationships, to ensure timely and cost-effective materials and services for GCC operations. Oversee purchasing transactions, ensure compliance with preferred suppliers, support contract management, and drive process improvements for greater efficiency.

Role Responsibilities

  • Providing Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) supplies, essential goods and services such as professional services, facility management, IT equipment, office supplies to support head office and production plant requirements.
  • Execute all incoming RFQ’s within an acceptable timeframe within the Procurement tool.
  • Executing purchasing process via SAP in accordance with the Procurement Procedure and KPIs.
  • Constant follow up with all suppliers for status of goods / services and arrange for delivery.
  • Creating action plans together with Procurement for suppliers by making periodic supplier evaluations.
  • Carrying out the return process of materials that do not meet the quality conditions.
  • Developing purchasing strategies and supplier pool.
  • Constant collaboration with all internal stakeholders’ updates progress of Purchase orders.
  • Follow up with internal departments for receipt and goods, MIGO and close out all Purchase orders.
  • Together with Procurement mange supplier claims and close out in a timely manner.
  • Taking an active role in continuous improvement projects.
  • Contributing to the preparation of annual operational and investment budgets.

  • Experience in process improvement and Project Management.
  • Proficient in standard Procurement software and SAP.
  • Strong understanding of market and industry trends, organizational objectives and supplier capabilities.
  • Excellent communication andcollaboration abilities.
