Job description

We are seeking a highly proactive and technically competent Purchasing Manager for a specialized engineering company focused on the design and integration of skids and packages for oil & gas and industrial applications.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in procurement planning and execution for complex, multi-component projects, with the ability to independently monitor material procurement and synchronize deliveries according to project schedules—ensuring components are available on time for seamless skid integration.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage procurement schedules aligned with project milestones.
• Handle procurement of hundreds of items per project and ensure synchronized delivery.
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with global suppliers.
• Issue RFQs, evaluate bids, and ensure technical compliance.
• Coordinate shipping, packing, bill of lading, and freight insurance.
• Work with internal QA/QC and Project teams on procurement specifications.
• Maintain and update the approved vendor list after evaluations.
• Enforce adherence to procurement procedures and policies.
• Lead supplier negotiations and resolve disputes.

Desired Candidate Profile

Key Requirements

• 8+ years procurement experience in EPC/instrumentation/skid integration.
• Independent procurement planning capabilities.
• Experience in procurement of flow meters, valves, piping, and components.
• Knowledge of international logistics and material insurance.
• Ability to interpret data sheets and drawings.
• ERP system proficiency and strong communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Engineering or Supply Chain Management
• Certifications such as CIPS, CSCP, or equivalent
• Experience with procurement for ADNOC or similar clients is a plus.
