Job summary

A leading consultancy firm is looking for a Purchaser to join their team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing raw materials and supplies for manufacturing, maintaining purchase records, and ensuring timely deliveries. Job Location : Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in sourcing and procuring raw materials, equipment, and supplies required for manufacturing.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier details.
Coordinate with vendors to obtain quotations and negotiate competitive prices.
Follow up on purchase orders to ensure timely delivery.
Inspect and verify the quality and quantity of received goods.
Maintain an updated inventory of required materials.
Process purchase requests and approvals in compliance with company policies.
Work closely with the accounts department for invoice verification and payment processing.
Support in identifying and evaluating potential new suppliers.
Assist in preparing reports related to purchasing activities.

Requirements:

High school diploma or diploma in business, supply chain, or a related field.
Minimum 1 year of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Basic understanding of procurement processes and inventory management.
Good negotiation and communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of UAE supplier market is a plus.
Immediate availability is preferred.
