Job Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the spare parts inventory system at our manufacturing unit.
- Ensure timely procurement and availability of spare parts for production lines.
- Collaborate with maintenance, repair, and operations teams for parts requirements.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to maintain inventory levels.
- Lead the Source-to-Contract (S2C) process, including supplier identification, selection, and negotiation.
- Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers, ensuring alignment with business goals and optimizing supplier performance.
- Manage direct procurement processes, including purchasing automotive spare parts, materials, resources, and services.
- Manage indirect procurement, including purchasing goods, services, supplies, and materials needed for daily operations.
- Develop and enforce procurement procedures and policies.
- Prepare reports on inventory status, physical stock taking, and key metrics.
- Manage the procure-to-pay process, including requisitioning, purchasing, receiving, invoicing, and payments.
- Collaborate with internal departments to meet procurement needs.
- Finalize purchase details and process purchase requests and orders.
- Track key metrics and KPIs to reduce costs.
- Collaborate with Production and Design Teams: Partner with engineering and product development teams to address production challenges, facilitate new product launches, or improve existing processes.
- Supply Chain & Inventory Management: Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure a steady supply of high-quality materials, parts, and components. Oversee inventory management to minimize excess and meet production schedules.
