Black & Grey HR is recruiting for a lighting solutions provider who provides ecofriendly and energysaving LED lighting solutions across several countries. Our client is looking for an experienced Purchase Manager to handle procurement for institutional lighting projects. The role involves vendor sourcing, raw material procurement, and inventory planning with a focus on suppliers from India, China, and Turkey.


Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement strategic procurement plans to ensure the timely supply of raw materials for institutional lighting projects.
  2. Analyze Bill of Materials (BOM) and forecast finished goods (FG) requirements, translating them into efficient procurement schedules.
  3. Oversee Material Requirements Planning (MRP), ensuring accuracy and alignment with project timelines.
  4. Identify, evaluate, and establish strong vendor networks in India, China, and Turkey for cost-effective procurement.
  5. Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
  6. Conduct inventory audits to minimize stock discrepancies and optimize procurement processes.
  7. Manage purchase orders, ensuring adherence to quality, budget, and delivery schedules.
  8. Work closely with Sales, Projects, Operations, and Finance teams to align procurement with business needs.
  9. Utilize and maintain ERP/procurement systems for seamless operations and reporting.
Requirements:
  1. 6-7 years of procurement experience in institutional/project lighting within the Gulf region.
  2. Bachelor's degree required (Electrical Engineering preferred).
  3. Strong vendor knowledge, particularly in India, China, and Turkey.
  4. Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Odoo, Oracle ERP, Microsoft Dynamics, Zoho Inventory).
  5. Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
