Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company sales targets.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company's customer base.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers and vendors to ensure favorable terms and pricing.
Manage the procurement process, including sourcing products, obtaining quotes, and placing orders.
Monitor inventory levels and optimize stock levels to meet demand while minimizing carrying costs.
Collaborate with internal teams, including finance, logistics, and marketing, to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
Prepare regular reports and presentations on sales and purchasing activities, performance, and forecasts.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
2-3 years of experience in sales and purchasing roles, preferably in a trading or similar industry.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Knowledge of ERP systems and sales/purchasing software is a plus.
