Job summary

Tanqeeb seeks an experienced PRO for a high-speed rail construction project in Abu Dhabi. You will serve as the main liaison with government authorities, handling permits, licenses, and regulatory approvals to keep the project on track.

Key duties include managing government documentation, monitoring license renewals, and reporting on compliance status. Requires Arabic and English, along with 5–6 years in large infrastructure settings in Abu Dhabi.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5-6 years of proven experience as a Public Relations Officer or Government Relations Officer in large-scale construction or infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi.
• Strong knowledge of UAE governmental regulations, especially in Abu Dhabi.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for government interaction and team collaboration.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with strong organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Arabic and English is highly desirable.
• Detail-oriented and proactive problem solver with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact with government departments and agencies.
• Coordinate processing of government documentation, permits, licenses, and approvals.
• Ensure compliance with local laws relevant to construction activities.
• Monitor expiry and renewal of licenses and permits to prevent delays.
• Facilitate communication between the company and governmental bodies.
• Prepare and submit periodic reports on government relations activities.
• Assist in handling government inspections or audits related to the project.
• Update project team on regulatory changes impacting operations.
